Ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday 23^rd January, at 11 am in the South Foyer

by Rimini’s Mayor, Andrea Gnassi.

Participants will include: Cher Harris (Pastry Queen 2014) and master pastry chefs Iginio Massari and Roberto Rinaldini

The expo centre is sold out: the 113.000 square metres of expo space at Rimini Fiera await trade visitors from all over the world and buyers from 40 Countries. At the Expo, over a thousand companies playing a key role in a sector closely focused on international development.

Numerous international events will animate the 37^th SIGEP, including:

PASTRY QUEEN (23^rd and 24^th January): the ladies world pastry championship.

GELATO WORLD CUP (23– 25 January): the contest to choose the winner among 13 participating teams.

THE STAR OF CHOCOLATE (25^th January) International Chocolate contest, which has jazz as its theme this year.

BARISTA CHAMPIONSHIPS (23-27 January) all the finals of the various competitions promoted by the SCAE and SCAA international associations.

BREAD IN THE CITY (23-26 January): international contest In collaboration with Richemont Club.

In Halls B7-D7, RHEX 2016 will host events focussed on food service/catering, including:

FOOD FACTOR COST (23-27 January): Menus’ “cost factor” will be at the centre of meetings and show coking.

PIZZA TAKES THE CHAIR (23-27 January): daily demos and tasting sessions to spotlight professionals, technology and products.

SIGEP and RHEX can be reached directly by train, thanks to the on-site railway station (on the main Milan - Bari line), just 50 yards from the expo’s south entrance (timetable info on the Web sites www.riminifiera.it/stazione andwww.trenitalia.com).
