Smart Cities and Efficient Industry the key players at Key Energy 2016

This year’s new feature is Key Energy Storage, dedicated to storage systems
From 8th to 11th November Rimini Fiera will also host Key Wind, the major Italian event on wind energy, and White Evolution, focussed on energy efficiency.
Rimini, 20th September 2016 – Key Energy, the Rimini Fiera event dedicated to renewable energies, energy efficiency for industry and the residential sector and to sustainable mobility, which is held along with Ecomondo (8-11 November) is rapidly approaching.
The new feature of Storage - The future of renewable energies and of sustainable mobility, for domestic or industrial applications, is closely linked with storage technologies and systems: in other words, personal use or creation of batteries for electric vehicles with increasing running time and life. For this reason, this year Rimini Fiera will host Key Energy Storage, an absolutely new feature. It is a section dedicated to storage systems that runs across the world of renewable energies, energy efficiency, applications for cities and electric transport, i.e. all the key topics of Key Energy.
White Evolution – The key player is energy efficiency, the issue on which Rimini Fiera has decided to focus, recently signing a long-term agreement with ENEA. The organization, which has been Italy’s national agency for energy efficiency since 2008, will provide scientific contents for meetings and debates with a view to communicating and ensuring greater awareness among entrepreneurs on the topic of efficient reduction of energy consumption in the manufacturing cycle, with a view to increasing competitiveness. For this occasion, meetings and training events have been organized in the “Eight rounds for efficiency”. These are eight free workshops that will give participants the right to training credits, at which the issues face will include cogeneration systems for efficiency, monitoring systems, also for efficiency, batteries and storage systems and solutions for efficient building. There will also be IoT & Smart Cities, promotion and financing of energy efficiency: current status and evolution of energy diagnosis, new efficient systems for Industry 4.0.
As usual, the Key Energy White Evolution area in Hall B5 will be put at the disposal of companies, who will thus be able to show their products and solutions. Participants will include: General Electric, AB Energy, ABB, Bosch and Cefla.
KEY WIND the key Italian event for wind energy - Key Wind confirms its role as the key Italian event for companies in the wind energy sector. The dedicated exhibit area has been further expanded, bearing witness to the success of the Rimini Fiera event, now at its fourth edition this year. Thanks to the well-proven collaboration with ANEV (Italy’s national wind energy association); once again, this year the Rimini Fiera halls will host the major operators and manufacturers of technology for small, medium and large onshore and offshore wind energy plants. At the expo centre, in hall D7, participants will include companies such as Erg Renew, Senvion Italia, Edf Energie Nouvelles, I.V.P.C. Service, Tozzi Nord, Northern Power System, Nordex, Enercon Gmbh, Atb Riva Calzoni and BKW Italia. During the four expo days, there will be conferences, institutional meetings, training courses and in-depth events connected with the wind energy sector.
Sustainable City with smart solutions – Efficiency and sustainability are the distinguishing features of the applicative solutions, at urban level, of Sustainable City, in both the building trade and the provision of public services. The project created in collaboration with Green Building Council Italia thus has the objective of showing solutions, technologies and projects that enable to improve the quality of life in smart cities of the future and favour the development of the respective areas in harmony with the environment. With this aim, it will also host CONDOMINIO ECO, the national event for the apartment building world, with particular attention being focussed on improving energy efficiency in a residential context.
