A GREAT START FOR MEAT-TECH 2021

The 3rd edition of the highly specialised vertical exhibition for the cold cut, meat, sea food and ready meal supply chain is undergoing expansion.

The growth in participation and increased number of foreign exhibitors confirms the international appeal of the event.

GROWTH IN COLD CUT EXPORTS TO THE USA

THE INDUSTRY LOOKS EAST

Cold cut exports towards non-EU countries saw an upward trend in the first half of 2019.

This included a particularly strong performance in the United States with 7.3% growth in value.

This is the economic scenario that emerges from the analysis conducted by Assica, the Meat and Cold Cut Producers’ Association.

Engagement with foreign markets is continuing in the lead-up to 2021. Following the success of the B2B matching initiatives with companies from Mexico and Maghreb, a new appointment with buyers from Eastern Europe and Russia is already scheduled for November 2020 It will include visits and meetings with MEAT-TECH exhibitors.
