As of 10 January 2022, it is mandatory to have a Super Green Pass in order to access events.

The latest Decree-Law – containing urgent measures to contain the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic and provisions as regards health surveillance – envisages a number of new requirements in order to attend trade fairs, conferences and congresses.

Consequently, the new Super Green Pass MUST be presented at the entrance turnstiles for shows and events. These passes are obtained as follows:

• anti-SARS-CoV-2 vaccination administered, at the end of the primary vaccination course or at administration of the booster dose;
• recovery from COVID-19, with simultaneous termination of the prescribed isolation period following infection with SARS-CoV-2 in compliance with the criteria defined by the Ministry of Health;
• recovery from COVID-19, after administration of the first dose of vaccine or at the end of the primary vaccination course or administration of the relative booster dose.

Children under the age of twelve and persons excluded from the vaccination campaign are exempt on the basis of appropriate medical certification issued in accordance with the procedures defined by the Ministry of Health.

The Green Pass control system has proven its efficacy during large events involving the general public, such as the 2021 edition of Fieracavalli.

Moreover, entrance to the Veronafiere Exhibition Centre is only allowed with an FFP2 mask, to be worn for the entire duration of the visit, even in outdoor areas. Both the mouth and nose must always be covered.

To ensure maximum safety for all exhibitors and visitors to its events, Veronafiere adopted a specific anti-Covid-19 protocol on resuming attended exhibitions in June 2021.

The Exhibition Centre is now equipped with temperature scanners at the entrance gates, 400 video cameras capable of signalling any gatherings of people, and continuous sanitation of areas and air conditioning systems. Veronafiere successfully completed the GBAC STARTM accreditation programme, which today is the most advanced standard for cleaning, disinfection and prevention of infectious diseases.
