Marmomacc 2016 // Best Communicator Award 2016 Jury + Icon Award

22.09.2016

DEBUT FOR THE ICON AWARD: A STONE PROJECT WILL BECOME THE MARMOMACC 2017 CAMPAIGN IMAGE

Now at its tenth edition, the Best Communicator Award returns once again this year to reward those companies attending Marmomacc that best express the values and philosophy guiding them through the originality of their exhibit design during the event. The award will be made to one Italian and one international company in each of the four categories identified: Stone, Machinery, Tools and Design.

For the 2016 Edition, all the stands at Marmomacc will be assessed by an exceptional jury comprising Laura Andreini (Deputy Director of Area), Alberto Biagetti (designer), Giovanni De Sandre (photographer), Silvia Robertazzi (Founder and Curator of the Milan Design Film Festival) and Marco Romanelli (architect), as Chairman.

Stands have by now become vital tools for corporate communication and visibility by providing the opportunity to present themselves on the market and promote not only their products but also their processing skills through the visual impact of a well-designed and appealing exhibit.

The Jury will tour the halls on the first day of the show (Wednesday 28 September) and will then select the winners, who will be announced during an Awards Ceremony scheduled on the following day (Thursday 29) in the Italian Stone Theatre (Hall 1) at 17.30.

The same jury will also decide the winner of the Icon Award, a new prize set up by Marmomacc in order to select a natural stone project as communication campaign image for the 2017 event. All the installations exhibited in Hall 1 - The Italian Stone Theatre* will compete in this prestigious award.

The members of the jury will have the task of choosing the winner whose aesthetics and communicative power best interpret the beauty and versatility of stone materials as well as the excellent creative, craftsmanship and industrial skills of Italian companies.

The winner will be announced after the exhibition closes.
