key factors for the ecological transition, and the international trends and scenarios
The pandemic, but in particular the impacts of climate change and pollution on the health and productivity of the Mediterranean hydrosphere and land, require an urgent adoption in situ of the most suitable climate-neutral and circular economy policies, protocols and technologies.
At Ecomondo 2022, we present, compare and identify the most appropriate technological solutions for reducing pollution and restoring the Mediterranean macro-region, and at the same time, bring together local institutions, private and public actors and financing entities as well citizens and consumers.

| The BlueMed Pilot healthy plastics-free Mediterranean sea and the EU Mission Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030 | Moving the Mediterranean textile and fashion industry towards greener and circular business models |
| This event aims to create conditions for the implementation of a MED innovation ecosystem, with a core role in the effective deployment of the Mission Implementation Charter and the piloting of the Mission objectives for the MED by 2030. | In OECD countries, fashion has an enormous impact on the environment. We will discuss new platforms and partnerships to reach circularity targets, including recycling technologies, sustainably-produced fibres and safer chemical protocols. |

| The State General of Soil Health | Africa Green Growth |
|
The workshop is intended to bring together national and international stakeholders and experts to draft a programme platform aimed at supporting the development of an Italian Soil Strategy, through an analysis of environmental, economic, legislative and social scenarios, and best practices. |
The Africa Green Growth forum is intended to promote the conditions to boost investment in Africa, accelerate the energy and ecological transition, and enable Italian companies to enter this market. There will be two main focuses: "The sustainable future of Africa cities" and "Green Hydrogen". |
