The third edition of “Barista & Farmer”, the only international talent show dedicated to the promotion and the culture of excellent coffee, will be held in Brazil, the world’s top coffee producer, and precisely in Santos, the largest port in South America, located in the State of San Paolo.
From 3rd to 13th May 2016, ten of the world’s best baristas, selected from hundreds of applicants, will have the possibility of living for ten days as coffee producers in one of the product’s countries of origin.
The format is based on an idea by Francesco Sanapo, multi award-winning champion barista, in collaboration with Rimini Fiera’s SIGEP - International Exhibition of artisan Gelato, Confectionery and Bakery production- and with the patronage of the Speciality Coffee Association of Europe (SCAE).
