Marmomac: the journey towards its 60th anniversary continues in Carrara

The journey towards the 60th edition of Marmomac made a stop in Carrara, with the second event dedicated to the celebrations of this important milestone in the exhibition’s history.

After the first meeting held at the Prun Quarries in the Verona district, the journey continued in Tuscany, confirming the dialogue between Verona and Carrara, two key territories for the natural stone supply chain which, through Marmomac, share a vision aimed at the international promotion of Made in Italy.

In the evocative setting of Cava Lazzareschi, during the opening day of White Carrara, the marble walls were lit by the warm hues of the evening, creating a natural dialogue between sky and stone. In this setting, made possible thanks to the hospitality of the venue, institutions, associations, companies and industry operators came together for an evening of exchange and discussion dedicated to the present and future of natural stone.

The evening also provided an opportunity to share some of the highlights that will characterise the 60th edition of Marmomac, scheduled in Verona from 22 to 25 September 2026.

Among these is the collaboration between White Carrara and Marmomac & The City, which will bring a series of marble installations to Verona’s historic city centre, created by Tuscan companies and designed by internationally renowned designers. An initiative that transforms the city into a stage dedicated to stone culture.

At the heart of marble, where matter takes shape, the meeting took on a symbolic meaning: celebrating a supply chain that continues to evolve, looking to the future without forgetting its roots, while maintaining a strong connection with the territories, skills and people that form its heritage.
