The perfect stage for major events dedicated to the world of Dolce (and more)
International contests, masterclasses, talks, show cooking and much more: the 2023 edition of SIGEP and AB Tech Expo is already packed with events that are not to be missed!
The first major new feature for 2023 is the Dolce Arena, the venue for the major international gelato and pastry competitions: Dolce Arena will host the first Gelato Europe Cup, and the Juniores Pastry World Cup and The Pastry Queen World Championship, representing the highest level of international excellence and craftsmanship and returning to the prestigious SIGEP stage following a long wait.
The Gelato Europe Cup, the big new entry of this edition, will see the European teams, made up of gelato makers and confectioners, selected to compete at the 10th Gelato World Cup, to be held at SIGEP 2024.
Vision Plaza will also return, with a calendar of talks dedicated to macro-trends in the sector and the themed arenas:
- the Gelato Arena and the Choco Arena, which will host talks and demos;
- the Pastry Arena, which will host the Juniores and Seniores Italian Pastry Championships, talks and the Sigep Giovani contest for schools;
- the Coffee Arena, which will see young coffee professionals compete in the 7 Italian Barista Championships. They will then be able to represent Italy in the World Coffee Championships;
- the Bakery Arena, which, with the return of AB Tech Expo, will host Bread In The City, the international bakery championship.
