ECOMONDO 2013, REFORMAT IN GREEN
19.04.2013
At Rimini Fiera from November 6th to 9th the huge international expo hub dedicated to the environment. Buyers from 25 countries. Two new expos: Key Wind and Sal.Ve. Eager expectation for the second edition of the General Assembly of the Green Economy
Rimini, 19th April 2013 – 1,000 companies are awaited in 16 halls, a very large number of participants – those who have reconfirmed and first-time exhibitors – right from the initial organization stages, buyers from 25 countries, a matching platform setting up relations between enterprises, associations and political/institutional bodies, a format that is in sync with the constant changes of the sector’s reference scenarios and applies them to innovative proposals at industry members’ service, a national and international networking facility bringing together enterprises and market demand and offering a guide on how to obtain access to European funding.
With these credentials, ECOMONDO 2013 is once again meeting companies and the public at Rimini Fiera from Wednesday 6th to Saturday 9th November: as well as KEY ENERGY and COOPERAMBIENTE, which are held simultaneously, there will also be the new feature of KEY WIND, dedicated to wind energy, and the return of the SAL.VE waste vehicle expo.
After being attended b 84,351 visitors in 2012 (11% more than 2011), ECOMONDO has set its sights even higher, thanks also to the re-proposal in 2013 of the General Assembly of the Green Economy: with the coordination of the Sustainable Development Foundation and the full collaboration of the Ministry for the Environment, 60 organizations divided into ten work groups will interact during the year on priorities useful for sustainable development and at the 2013 expo there will be an exhibition of the results achieved, for a “Green New Deal”.
In 2013, the Sustainable City section will also be back, 6,000 m2 of innovative solutions already available to represent the Italian road to smart cities; the 2013 vision of the proposal can be summed up in three key words: growth, cohesion and creativity.
ECOMONDO will as always feature a program of international conferences, of which the board of the Committee Technical Scientific – now led by the new chairman Fabio Fava, Professor of industrial and environmental biotechnologies at the faculty of Engineering of the University of Bologna – has already established the leitmotif: Fava explains, “We intend integrating the exhibition and conferences to show the real road to innovation and also towards the economic facilities made available by the European Commission. We shall also pay close attention to showing the new opportunities of the international market” (it is worth remembering that in 2012 150 conferences were held, with 7,200 participants).
Also to be remembered is the intense advertising and communication activity under way – as well as in the more traditional media – on all the major social networks, which enables the expo to animate this qualified professional community all year round.
