How to quarry natural stone: the use of controlled blasting

One of the methods of mining large natural stone involves the use of controlled blasting. 

The incurred risk can be the fracture and dispersion of the material during the extraction process.

The Bulgarian university, Sveti Ivan Rilski, has designed an innovative technology to prevent these micro fractures.
