AT RIMINIWELLNESS 2019
The appointment’s from 30th May to 2nd June at Rimini Expo Centre and in the local area
Rimini, 5th April 2019 - Expectations are high and anticipations continue for RiminiWellness, the largest international event dedicated to fitness and wellness, being held from 30th May to 2nd June at Rimini Expo Centre and in the surrounding area.
Now at its fourteenth edition, the event organized by IEG (Italian Exhibition Group) is acknowledged as the leader, the ideal place to present disciplines in a fitness and movement context. Many of the various activities proposed this year will enable everyone to feel motivated, perfect their skills and - last but not least - enjoy themselves. So here’s a preview of the main competitions to be found at RiminiWellness 2019.
Among the outstanding new features, THE ONE – International Fit Talent, which will animate all four days of the expo event. Organized by Cruisin’, the first international contest dedicated to choreographic step’s talents will feature the collaboration of over 10 organizations from the fitness world. The contest’s main aim is to ensure fitness instructors a unique opportunity to show their talent, but also to grow, find new stimuli and measure themselves with the greatest testimonials of music fitness.
Among the key competitions confirmed at RiminiWellness, the one created by FIF – Italian Fitness Federation - which puts enjoyment and spectacle in first place. As well as the already well-known and increasingly popular Kalisthenics® Challenge, scheduled for Saturday 1st June, on Sunday there will be Club vs. Club: Hip Hop & Free Style Competition, at which teams from all over Italy will compete in free style, street dance, house, video dance, breakin' and hip hop disciplines. On 2nd June, there will also be the Spartan Challenge and Cross Training Challenge. The former, following the enormous interest with which it was met last year, will feature athletes of both sexes competing in floor routines during a competition in perfect “Olympic Games” style with two different levels of difficulty. The latter, on the other hand, recognized by the ASI -Associazioni Sportive e Sociali Italiane (Italian sports and social associations) - as a championship valid for the national title, will focus on athletes and teams involved in 5 exciting tests (box jump, bench press, runner, pull-ups and bike).
On 1st June, by popular demand, there will once again be an appointment with the Virgin Active Urban Obstacle Race, the obstacle race dedicated to functional training. This competition, one of a kind, offers the opportunity to exploitRimini’s townscape as an integral part of the race circuit. A new feature this year is the possibility of choosing between two different categories: ATHLETIC, reserved for those looking for performance and timed sports, and EXPERIENCE, dedicated to those who want the pure experience of a race with the primary aim of putting themselves to the test and having fun with their team.
