The winner will be announced in Berlin in October, and a couple of weeks later, the first-placed start-up will be put to the test by the market, with the presentation of its project in Rimini, during Ecomondo.

This year, the trade fair will feature two areas dedicated to start-ups: one organised by ASTER – the Region of Emilia Romagna and the other directly by Ecomondo, with the support of the Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna and Giuseppina Mai, Confindustria Foundation.

Start-ups will also be actively involved within the Business Meeting platform that matches supply- and demand-side operators in a targeted manner through a calendar of pre-scheduled appointments.

A vertical section of the Technological innovations initiative will also be dedicated to start-ups, and will be online soon on the Ecomondo website.

The areas dedicated to start-ups will offer numerous opportunities for discussion and networking, as well as a packed schedule of seminars and training workshops.
