Ipack-Mat, the IPACK-IMA project devoted to innovative materials and eco-efficient packaging, will be back in 2021 with expanded scope and contents. The event will renew its partnership with Conai, which will propose initiatives to raise awareness of the circular economy. Ipack-Mat will also see the debut of Ipack-Ima Lab, a new special section hosting laboratories, consulting services,quality certification and research institutes.
Participants have until 17 January 2020to register for the Best Packaging Awards, a contest organised by the Italian Institute of Packaging in partnership with Ipack-Ima to select the best packaging launched onto the market in 2019 and 2020. The theme of the 2020 edition will be Quality Design.
more than 370 meetings Positive results for the focus on Maghreb and North Africa recently held in Milan. IPACK-IMA exhibitors took part in with 30 professionals from Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco and Egypt. The next appointment is March 2020 with key buyers from the Middle East and Turkey.
Packaging Speaks Green, the international conference organised by Ucima in partnership with Fondazione Fico, will be held in Bologna on 20 and 21 February 2020. It will take an in-depth look at global sustainability trends in the packaging industry centring on three major themes: consumption trends and legislation, retailers and brand owners, materials and technologies.
