THE EVENT RETURNS TO ITS ORIGINAL FORMULA. FOUR DAYS OF EQUESTRIAN PASSION, SPORT, BREEDER SHOWS AND SPECTACLE.

The most eagerly awaited events include the twenty-first Longines FEI Show Jumping World Cup™, the Italian Breeders Show and the Gold Gala.

Arezzo, 9 April 2022- The Arezzo Equestrian Centre, the symbol for the restart in the sector for Fieracavalli, is the setting for the presentation of the 124th Show that - after the pandemic - now returns to its original four-day format 3-6 November 2022 at Veronafiere. The most important international show in the equestrian world with an up-to-date programme of events, exhibitions, conferences and social projects launches its new communication campaign precisely in Arezzo.

"Close Together" is the claim for Fieracavalli 2022 with the decision to return the figure of horses in all their natural beauty at the heart of the show. A hymn to a restart full of optimism and trust which also states the essence of the event itself and its desire to be close to its audience, coming forward as an occasion for meetings between people and horses in all their forms of expressions.

The 124th edition of the horse show further strengthens bond with FISE which, between 2022 and 2023, will welcome an expansion of the sporting schedule. Verona will once again host the finals of the two national show jumping circuits: the 124x124 and the Italian Champions Tour. These appointments also and naturally include the twenty-first edition of the Longines FEI Show Jumping World Cup™; in addition to the individual contents in the competition ring, several international champions will also compete in the second edition of the Top Team competition - with initial confirmations already received of the calibre of Kevin Staut, Lorenzo De Luca, Giulia Martinengo Marquet, Alberto Zorzi and Piergiorgio Bucci for the Stable 1918 team which, with KASK, will also be in charge of expanding the "Ladies & Gentleman" area dedicated to riders, owners and grooms.

Fieracavalli looks to the future with two important projects. Within the scope of an increasingly wellstructured collaboration with the Arezzo Equestrian Centre, an agreement was signed recently between Holmo srl and Veronafiere which aims to apply latest generation eyes on systems to improve training and competition performance. Equally, the research project into improving the sport training sector by the Department of Biotechnology of Verona University - supported by Veronafiere and Stable 1918- will study the genome of competition horses.

The much-loved Gold Gala will return and the Family Area will be expanded: there will also be more appointments with the "Saddle Christening" and the programme of "educational" animations focusing on the world of the horse will also be expanded, as a way of facilitating the first approach to horses and excite the growing number of newcomers to the equestrian world .

Significant attention with be paid to sustainable and social inclusion initiatives, such the Riding the Blue experimental project coordinated by Prof. Leonardo Zoccante, which seeks to obtain recognition of horse therapy by the National Health Service as a practice in the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder in children. And it is precisely on the occasion of the World Autism Awareness Day 2 April that Fieracavalli - with the support of EY Foundation- launches on the Rete del Dono platform a fund-raiser to finance an inter-regional project which will involve several Italian equestrian centres, selected thanks to the Italian Federation of Equestrian Sports- and 60 young people with ASD followed up by a regional multidisciplinary team with the aim of highlighting the benefits of Assisted interventions with horses in children with autism. The entire proceeds of the charity initiative will be donated to Angsa, the National Association of Parents of Persons with Autism, thereby enabling 60 selected youngsters to access treatment without charge.

The second edition of the Italian Champions Tour was also presented - the team show jumping circuit launched by Fieracavalli in partnership with FISE and the Arezzo Equestrian Centre.An itinerary of 4 stages in Italy's finest equestrian centres where teams, made up of prominent riders on the national scene, will compete to win the overall prize money of € 150,000 at the Final Event by Jumping Verona Fieracavalli 2022. Three days of competitions - 15-17 April - mark the start of the circuit during the last leg of the Tuscany Tour at the Arezzo Equestrian Centre. 11 teams will take the field to step up on to the podium: Cavalleria Toscana RG Team captained by Matteo Giunti, Equipe led by Elena Bisogni, Goldspan Equestro guided by Danilo Scagnoli, Grimaldi Lines with Guido Grimaldi, Horse&Fun for Jumping with riders Neri Pieraccini and Priscilla Pigozzi Garofalo, Carla Cimolai and the team manager of Jumping Verona, SCH Jumping Team under the guidance of Salvatore Cuzzocrea, Scuderia 1918 presented by Stefano Cesaretto, Tombini Infinito Team with Daniel Tombini, Fabrizia Stefani and the team manager of Riders Team powered by Allianz Bank F.A., while Francesco Franco heads the Victor Handmade Team.
